Teaching Truth International affirms the faith of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Along with the early church, we accept the authority of the Bible, that is both the Old Testament and the New Testament, as constituting the old covenant and the new covenant of God with his people. Thus we accept its teaching as authoritative and infallible. As brief summaries of the faith of the Bible, we affirm two creeds of the early church, the Nicene Creed and the Apostles’ Creed. We believe in: - the one infinite, personal, sovereign, triune God (Deut. 6:4; Ps. 115:3; Mat. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14);
- the verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pe. 1:21);
- the creation of the universe, including mankind, by an infinite, personal God (Gen. 1:1; 2:7; 1:27);
- the fall of mankind through the sin of Adam (Gen. 3:1-24; Ro. 5:12-19);
- the incarnation and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (John 1:14; Mat. 1:23; Mat. 16:16);
- the saving work of Christ on the cross (1 Pe. 2:24; Eph. 1:7; Ro. 3:26,28);
- the resurrection of His body from the tomb (1 Cor. 15:4; Mat. 28:6 );
- the provision of salvation by God’s grace alone, received through faith alone (Romans 3:23-25, 28; Gal. 2:16);
- the new birth by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit (John 3:16-17; Titus 3:4-7);
- the gift of eternal life by the grace of God (John 3:36; 5:24; 6:40; Rom. 6:23; 1 John 5:11,13);
- the one universal church, composed of all true believers in Christ, expressed in local churches throughout the world (Col. 1:18; Eph. 1:22; Acts 8:1; 1 Cor. 16:19);
- the importance of Christian growth and the command for faithful service (1 Pe. 2:2; 2 Pe. 3:18; 1 Cor. 15:58; Galatians 6:9; 2 Thes. 3:13);
- the commission to disciple all peoples of the earth (Mat. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8);
- the literal second coming of Christ (Acts 1:9-11; Luke 21:27; 1 Thes. 4:15-17).
